The Sensuous Garden. By Montagu Don (Simon and Schuster Editions, 1997). Designing with all the senses in mind. Don explores the spiritual, and emotional, as well as physical dimensions of garden design and gardening.

On Garden Style. By Bunny Williams with Nancy Drew (Simon and Schuster Editions, 1998). An interior designer on garden design. Apply the principles of interior design to your exterior after learning to analyze its character.
