Iberflora 2007

I leave soon for Portugal and Spain to attend Iberflora: International Fair of Mediterranean Plants and Flowers, Technology and Gardening, being held in Valencia in October 18-20. Now in its 35th year, the show is the largest of its kind in the Mediterranean, featuring over 600 exhibitors. Companies from as far away as China and Costa Rica (at least ten companies introduce their CR products to the European market from this venue) will be there.

At least half the show is plants, plants, plants (with over 50 vendors from Italy alone!). The technology and gardening section will showcase the latest innovations in machinery, technology, and of course, watering systems.

Along with the fair, I'll be stopping at some public and private gardens and touching base with many friends.

I'll be taking notes and pictures and hope to report on the experience in this space at a later date.
